The pressure and abuse of minors does not seem to stop. In the context of the everyday protests “For a Joint Macedonia”, there is information coming from several secondary schools in Macedonia that students are being forced to participate at the protests. A citizen journalist sent us a video from the secondary school “Mirce Acev” in Prilep, which shows the school director convincing the students to go to protests. At one moment, his speech on the justification and need of activating the secondary students is disrupted by a student’s comment who says: “Director, it is a shame for you to be giving us political speeches in an educational institution”.
“Because I have spent four years in this school, here is an example of what the director of the high school does. The entire text that is written by my friend is true. The man is a history professor and you can only imagine what kind of propaganda and brainwashing there is(was) from the first year in high school”, stated the citizen journalist who wanted to remain anonymous.
Citizen journalists are constantly reporting on the abuses of the institutions, and through them also the abuse of minors.
As a reminder, part of the stories that were awarded within the framework of the “Civic Lenses” project, especially during the election period last year, were on the abuse of children for political and party purposes.
