Criminal charges for vote-buying against VMRO-DPMNE council member

Unofficially, we find out that the Stip Sector of Interior within the Public Security Bureau of the MOI has filed criminal charges against K.GJ., member of the Council of the Municipality of Kocani, from among the lines of VMRO-DPMNE, due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence “vote-buying during elections and voting” at the last parliamentary elections.

According to the criminal charges, there is grounded suspicion that K.GJ. had promised S.DZ. from Vinica that he would employ his son if they and other people voted for VMRO-DPMNE, and for that reason they had voted for this party. On July 15, K.GJ. with his vehicle Opel picked up S.DZ. and other persons from the city square in Kocani and took them to the polling stations to vote for VMRO-DPMNE. The MOI confirms that criminal charges have been filed against K.GJ.
