Participate in #Civic Lenses and receive prizes

Participate in the #Civic Lenses project, become part of the great family of citizen journalists around the world who are changing society. With your video or photo on the topic violation of human rights and freedoms, abuse and injustices, you contribute to more responsible and more transparent institutions. At the same time, you become a potential winner of one of the five interesting prizes for citizen journalism, which CIVIL is awarding every two months.

The participation can also be anonymous. The next awarding of prizes is on August 11 (Friday) in Hotel City Park, starting at 11:00 am. The deadline for sending materials with a photo or video story is August 9 (Wednesday), 5:00 pm. Stories sent after that date will be taken into consideration for prizes in the final cycle for this year, by the end of September. That’s why hurry!

In addition to the above-mentioned topics, you may also send a video for the initiative #I demand an answer. The idea of this initiative is about citizens asking politicians or a public figure questions, through a video or selfie video, which CIVIL will publish on its online channels. If the question is provocative or if citizens simply want to stay anonymous, then there is the option of recording an object or a certain situation, while asking the question.

Civic Lenses is a project of CIVIL, which for the second year is opening opportunities for citizens to publish their stories freely and without censorship. The project is financed by National Endowment for Democracy.
