At today’s info stand in the center of Skopje near Paleta, the team of CIVIL-Center for Freedom was pleased to present the “Civic Lenses” project to a large number of interested citizens that showed interest for taking part in the trainings on citizen journalism. The Workshop on citizen journalism will be held on July 19, in Skopje.
Distrust in the media and their selective informing is a problem that many citizens face. Citizens believe that efforts need to be primarily put into restoring trust among the public, and that citizen journalism is an excellent opportunity for the citizens themselves to actively contribute to improving the image of the media at the local and national level.
All interested citizens in the workshop can register through the email address [email protected], with a CV and motivation letter (no more than 10 rows) in which candidates will briefly describe their skills and express their readiness to participate in the workshop, or by filling out an online form.
