The team of CIVIL – Center for Freedom, today put up an info-stand at the entrance of Skopje’s Old Bazaar, where citizens had the opportunity to learn about the idea of citizen journalism, as well as to register for participation at the upcoming seminar for citizen journalists in Skopje, which will be held on April 22-23, 2017.
Those who were passing by and were interested had the opportunity to talk with the team, to express their views, as well as to give recommendations for better informing the population on the social conditions.
CIVIL – Center for Freedom is working a year and a half now on raising awareness among citizens on the opportunity to participate and help in the objective and timely informing of the citizens on issues that are of great significance for everyone. In times when the media in Macedonia are taking sides and their informing has come down to propaganda, citizen journalism is gaining momentum in the country just like it is worldwide.
