Citizen journalist Damjan Temkov won one of the two fourth prizes for the video contribution “Orange phase: Workers on the field, inspections cannot keep up”.
Temkov stated for CIVIL Media that he was not expecting an award, and that he is motivated to continue reporting about all the problems he will come across, because this opens many opportunities, and that no one should be afraid to inform the public about what is happening.
“I believe that citizen journalism is an opportunity to speak about problems that are not covered by the official media. Certainly, if there is room and a possibility for a certain event to be documented, it would be nice to have someone like CIVIL, for example, to promote the event and to inform the public”, stated Temkov.
