“We participate, observe, report!” is the slogan of the new series of regional seminars on citizen journalism, which CIVIL is organizing in the third year of the implementation of the “Civic Lenses” project. The seminar will be held on November 18, at Hotel City Park, Skopje, from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Registration for participating in the seminar is done by email ([email protected]), by sending basic information of candidates (name and surname, year of birth, telephone number, address of residence/ place of stay) and a short motivation letter – until Friday, November 17. For more information, candidates can contact us at 02/5209076. Only candidates from Skopje have the right to participate. Others who are interested have the opportunity to participate in the following regional seminars.
The project is dedicated to transparent and accountable political processes through support and popularization of citizen journalism. Citizen journalism is of great significance in society, as a tool through which transparency and accountability of institutions and decision makers at the local and national level is encouraged. The project also contributes to awareness-raising, civic education and activism of citizens towards human rights, freedom of expression, democracy, and free elections.
