Seminar on citizen journalism in Skopje

CIVIL is inviting you to be part of the big family of citizen journalists who in the past five seminars on citizen journalism acquired theoretic and practical skills on citizen activism, online activism and journalistic investigation.

The sixth regional seminar on citizen journalism will be held on April 8-9 in Hotel City Park, starting at 11.00h, on Saturday. Citizens from Skopje, Gostivar, Tetovo, Kumanovo, Kriva Palanka and the surrounding municipalities are invited to participate.

Objective, fast and uncensored reporting from the scene by using the technological benefits, mobile phones, the Internet and social networks is a characteristic of citizen journalism throughout the world. Brave and determined, citizen journalists are on the front line in the struggle against media disinformation, distortion of the truth and the unprofessionalism that journalism is facing in Macedonia.

All those interested in participating in the seminar can register by filling out the оnline form on a computer or mobile phone, which takes only a few minutes. You can also apply through the email address [email protected], with a CV and a motivation letter (no more than 10 rows) in which the candidates briefly describe their skills and express their readiness to participate in the seminar. For more information, those interested may contact us at 02/5209176, or write a message on [email protected] or on the Facebook page Civic Lenses.
