“Next Station: Europe” – CIVIL Conference on Human Rights, Justice and Anti-Corruption to be held on International Human Rights Day

CIVIL is organizing the Conference on Human Rights, Justice and Anti-Corruption “Next Station: Europe” on December 10, International Human Rights Day, starting at 12 o’clock. The conference will be held in combination, with online and physical presence, with maximum respect for health protocols.

The conference will be held in two sessions, at 12 and 13:30. The first session of the conference is entitled “Justice and Rule of Law”, and is attended by the Minister of Justice, Bojan Marichikj and university professor Aleksandar Spasov.

The second session of the conference is titled “Fight against Corruption”, and will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Fight against Corruption and Crime, Ljupco Nikolovski, political analyst and university professor Saso Ordanoski and university professor Jasna Bacovska. The moderator and participant of the conference will be Xhabir Deralla from CIVIL.

The conference will be broadcast live on the Facebook page, as well as the YouTube video channel of CIVIL, which invites the media and all those interested to follow it and freely download the content resulting from the conference.

The event is organized within the frames of The Freedom Festival, which started on November 25, when the organization celebrated its 21st anniversary. The festival period also includes the International Day of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (December 3) and the International Anti-Corruption Day (December 9).

The event is part of the project “Europe is our home”, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Freedom Festival is a multimedia event within the Civic Lens project, supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (USA), as well as the Civica Mobilitas Program, supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
