CIVIL- Center for Freedom organized another successful seminar on citizen journalism at which interested citizens, young journalists and representatives of civil society from Prilep, Krivogastani, Dolneni, Krusevo and Demir Hisar all took part.
In an exceptional atmosphere and interaction with CIVIL’s team, the participants had the opportunity to learn about citizen journalism and its influence on social changes. Through practical examples, they also became familiar with the concrete activities of the “Civic Lenses” project.
The participants at the seminar in Prilep shared their views, ideas and proposals on how they can apply the practical knowledge and technological benefits of the modern times in the timely and objective informing through photo and video stories.
Encouraged by the new knowledge, they also shared examples of where and how they can positively influence positive social changes at the local level. The Civic Lenses project is financed by the National Endowment for Democracy.
