Citizen journalist Dejan Ristov made an article last year in October, on the situation of the green market and the working conditions of those selling on the market. During that visit to the green market in Veles and in conversation with the sellers on the market, he confirmed that not only had the situation not changed from 2013 until now, but that it had even worsened.
“Instead of a covered green market we are left with the empty promises of Mayor Slavco Chadiev, as a reminder of the unfulfilled”, was the conclusion of Ristov.
“Because we are already in the second half of 2017, in the midst of an election campaign, and the current mayor will try to remain in this position after the local elections, the citizen journalist took some photos from the place, on a market day in Veles, which illustrates the current situation of the market”, explained citizen journalist Dejan Ristov.
